For every horrible boss I encountered along the years, life’s balance afforded me the opportunity to work with some truly amazing leaders. These selfless champions supported and helped further develop my “corporate talents” by pushing me to embrace my full potential. I will never forget the one manager who shared this quote with me, setting the tone for me to begin speaking up for myself inside and outside of the work place.
